JEE is a national level engineering entrance exam conducted for admission in various engineering colleges across India. This exam was first professed and conducted in the year 1960 and was named the Common Entrance Exam (CEE). JEE Advanced is the second phase of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) which is held all over India for students aspiring to take admission in engineering colleges. The scores of JEE Advanced are very important for getting into IIT and other esteemed engineering colleges in India. These colleges have only 10,988 seats for the 3 lakh students who appear for JEE Advanced. The JEE Advanced is organized on a rotational basis by the seven zonal IITs across India (IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati).
